Library"What a school thinks about its library is a measure of what it thinks about education." Harold Howe, former U.S. Commissioner of EducationWelcome to the AAS Library. Our library has a growing collection of about 16,000 books, an online database, periodicals, a computer center and a growing audio collection. The purpose of the AAS Library Media Center is to support the school curriculum by providing materials and assistance that allow students to explore ideas as knowledgeable, independent learners and reflective critical thinkers. The library media center provides a balanced program that builds skills incrementally over the years, giving students the expertise to be open-minded inquirers that can independently obtain and manage information and ideas.
