September was a busy month for the Bulgarian Mother Tongue students in Middle and High School. The students researched three major days in Bulgarian history that  local people celebrate – Unification Day (6th September), the Day of Sofia (17 September) and Independence Day (22 September).

They visited the Vrana Palace near Sofia and presented their findings in front of the rest of their peers at assembly. It was a great opportunity for both Bulgarian and non-Bulgarian students to learn more about the history of our host country.
