As part of their Social Studies unit on exploring Sofia’s past and present, Grade 1 took a field trip to the Sofia History Museum and the Ancient Serdica Archaeological Complex. They explored the old ruins looking for ancient places and artifacts and they learned what Sofia looked like in the past.

Our curious explorers also took a tour around the Sofia History Museum, which is located in the former Central Mineral Bath. There they visited several exhibitions such as  “Homes and Clothing of citizens of Sofia”, “The Palace Study”,  “A Street in Sofia” and found even more answers to their questions. Enjoy our gallery!
