Grade 2A have been working on a wonderful fundraising project. Using students’ artwork, they have created holiday cards that will be sold between now and the winter break.
The aim of the project is to make enough profit so that sports equipment that can be used during recess by 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders can be purchased. The students would also like to donate to a local orphanage.
The cards are currently being printed and will be on sale by the beginning of next week. A store will be set up in the elementary school reception area and will be open each recess, lunchtime and at the end of the school day.
We’re thankful to the PTO for their support with this project and we’re hoping for a lot of support from the AAS community too. Thank you so much!
