Grade 3 Learn About Bulgarian Christmas

As part of their Social Studies Unit: Traditions Then and Now, the students from 3 A explored the Christmas traditions in Bulgaria. With the help of our professional student guides, they found out how many and what type of dishes the traditional Christmas Eve dinner consists of, why is there a coin in the ritual bread called Pitka, who are the Koledari, and is Christmas Day in Bulgaria celebrated the same way as in other countries in the world.
