Last week Grade 8 students presented their innovative products to fellow students and teachers at AAS.
The students had a project assignment for their English class to invent a product (or build upon an already existing product) that they feel would be useful today. They had to create an advertisement for it using persuasive techniques, write an essay using researched evidence to defend the need and use for their product, and then market their product with this exhibition-style presentation.
The products were all very interesting – ranging from anti-theft stickers, safety rings and airpod holder bracelets to mask cleaning machine. We are sure that some of these products could be funded and produced in reality and would help make life better.
