This past week, students in Grade 11 IB History participated in an escape room simulation related to their current unit on the rise and rule of the Nazi Party in Germany. Students took on the role of opposition party members who were tasked with solving various clues and puzzles, related to content we have studied within the unit, in order to escape the oppression of the party in power.
The students did an excellent job of working together and tapping into their knowledge on the subject in their quest to beat the clock and escape the simulation. Such activities are designed to help students continue to enhance their collaboration skills while also serving as a tool for reviewing content.
